Troop 230’s annual Christmas Wreath fundraising sale funds all merit badges, rank advancement, and special activity patches, handbooks and scarves for new scouts—as well as new camping equipment. The money also subsidizes the Annual Dinner, Eagle Award Ceremonies, the Ski Trip, the Canoe Trip and various other camping and social events. We sell wreaths after all Masses at St. Ignatius Church on the weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Each scout is expected to offer 2.5 hours of service at the Church sales in addition to his individual selling.
Requirements:
• Each Scout is expected to sell 20 wreathes. (Families with two or more scouts sell 30.)
• Each Scout is expected to provide 2.5 hours service at the church sale.
Participation in the wreath sale qualifies you to participate in the annual ski trip and the Memorial weekend canoe trip. Non-participation disqualifies you from these trips.
