Troop 230 has an active fundraising program. In 2008, the scouts collectively netted over $5500 for their individual scout accounts through car washes, popcorn sales, holiday flower sales, “burger burns” and a shopping bazaar.
The fundraisers listed above are open to all the boys and profits are split evenly among those who participate. A few weeks before each event, sign-ups are available at the Tuesday night meetings on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents must accompany their sons to the fundraising events.
